Roses are Red

Ahem. I didn’t complete that kitchen sampler either.

I got as far as ‘Love’ and a heart or two, and then, well, became bored. I just – my heart wasn’t in it, not really, and there’s only so far you can push a project like that, especially with a looming deadline.

Third time lucky, thought I, reaching for my CrossStitcher magazines. There’s got to be something in here that’d be suitable. And, luckily, there was, with a theoretical time of just three hours. Perfect, an evening or two.

Not being a professional stitcher, it took a little longer than that. And I was watching something new, which always means the stitching takes a bit longer.

However, I completed it, and now just have to iron and prettify it.

  1. I swear it takes me at least twice as long as the “CrossStitcher estimated time” for any of their patterns. Makes me feel like a very slow stitcher. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
